About Peter Laurent

Peter Laurent is the founder of Brisbane Consulting Pty Ltd and an e-business management consultant.
He has advised firms in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore on a broad range of managerial and technology issues.

Prior to beginning consulting full-time Peter had his own direct marketing company which sold environment products to households including Watertanks, Solar Hot Water, Solar Power & Insulation. He also owned an Internet Marketing company with a portfolio of around 20 websites that sold products, services and advertising space online.

He is also one of the executives in charge of business development for start up travel company Speedy Travel Ltd an
upstart notible for its invention and popularisation of key smart phone and internet travel booking technology.

Peter is a native of New Zealand and holds Australian citizenship. He is the great grandson of Victoria Cross
recipient Lieutenant Colonel Harry Laurent VC something Peter is very proud of. Peter has a Business degree from
the Queensland University of Technology and is completing an MBA at the University of Queensland Business School.
